The philosophy of the Human Resources (HR) team is to provide a creative and high energy environment in which to work, learn, and serve the community. We know each employee by their first name and want them to have a balanced and healthy work life. To that end, the HR team attempts to always have something “new and/or improved” for the employees of the Village and to present it in a way that engages our staff. Below are examples of current activities:

Benefit Souper Bowl – Who wouldn’t like a free lunch of a warm bowl of soup and sandwich while learning about next year’s benefit options? Our open benefit enrollment sessions - held on November 13 and 14 - were designed to inform employees about any changes in plan design and cost, but more importantly, how to be better consumers and maximize their insurance benefits. This year’s campaign once again focused on the wellness initiative, Be a S.P.O.R.T. You’ll find more information about our benefits and wellness initiatives here.

Employee Holiday Luncheon sponsored by the Employee Recognition Committee – The biggest employee event of the year, held annually in December, provides the perfect setting to recognize and honor employees who have reached five-year service milestones with the Village. And the highlight of the event is always the announcement of “Employee of the Year” award recipient. With all of this excitement, who cares about food?!?
