JUNE 24, 2008 VILLAGE COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pinehurst Village Council will hold a Public Hearing at 1:00 p.m. on June 24, 2008 in the Conference Room of the Village Hall, 395 Magnolia Road, Pinehurst, NC, to consider:  1. Official Text Amendment to the Pinehurst Development Ordinance.  The proposed amendment will amend the ordinance by adding section 10.2.1.1 SR-18(j) (2) (e) and the associated graphic. The proposed text will prohibit fences greater than 4’ in height in the rear yard of a lot if that area abuts the front yard of another lot.  2. Official Text Amendment to the Pinehurst Development Ordinance.  The proposed amendment will add and delete text to section 5.13.3 Application Requirements; Determination of Completeness for Special Use Proposals.  The proposed text will allow for a general concept plan to be submitted rather than a full detailed site plan.  The proposed text amendment will also add Section 5.13.3 (c).  This section outlines the required information and detail to be submitted on the general concept plan. 3.  Request for Major Site Plan approval in order to construct a new church at 220 Campground Rd.  This parcel is bounded on the west by Hwy. 15/501 and to the east by Campground Rd.  This parcel can be identified as Moore County LRK# 17552 and totals ± 10.61 acres.  The property owner is Community Evangelical Free Church of the Sandhills, Inc; applicant is Christ Community Church.  This property is currently zoned R-20.  ALL PERSONS INTERESTED AND WISHING TO BE HEARD should be present in order that their opinion may be made a matter of record.  If unable to be present, a citizen or his/her authorized agent may record his/her views by letter or memorandum delivered to the Village Clerk forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pinehurst Village Council will hold a Quasi-Judicial Hearing at 1:00 p.m. on June 24, 2008 in the Conference Room of the Village Hall, 395 Magnolia Road, Pinehurst, NC, to consider:  1. Request for Major Special Use permit approval in order to construct a new church at 220 Campground Rd.  This parcel is bounded on the west by Hwy. 15/501 and to the east by Campground Rd.  This parcel can be identified as Moore County LRK# 17552 and totals ± 10.61 acres.  The property owner is Community Evangelical Free Church of the Sandhills, Inc; applicant is Christ Community Church.  This property is currently zoned R-20.   ALL PERSONS INTERESTED AND WISHING TO BE HEARD should be present in order that their testimony and/or evidence regarding the Standards of Review for Major Special Use approval found in Section 5.13.6 of the Pinehurst Development Ordinance may be made a matter of record.
