SOLID WASTE PICKUP SCHEDULE

The Village collects household refuse once a  week. Staff of the Public Services Department collect garbage on the  East of Hwy 5 on Mondays.  Residents who live West of Hwy 5 have garbage collected on Tuesdays.

Yard debris is collected on Wednesdays. 

The Village prepares a  brochure highlighting the pickup schedule and the rules and regulations for household garbage and yard debris collection.

Recycling is collected once a week, alternating between those homes that are East of Hwy 5 and those that are West of Hwy 5.  Staff of the Public Services Department collect recycling on the East of Hwy 5 on Thursdays. Residents who live West of Hwy 5 have their recycling collected on Fridays. The Village prepares a brochure identifying the pickup schedule and the rules and regulations for recycling.

The Village does not collect refuse on Village Observed Holidays. Holiday collection make-up days for household trash or recycling will be on Wednesdays of the week of the holiday.  If a holiday falls on a Wednesday, yard debris will be collected the next working day.
