PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs geared towards adults and youth.  Programs vary from organized athletic leagues, to arts and crafts classes, exercise classes, special events, and festivals. Programs are designed with the residents of Pinehurst in mind, but are open to all Moore County residents.

Registration Information

Pre-registration is required for all programs.  Participation is on a first paid, first served basis. Participants can register in person at the Parks and Recreation Department in the Village Hall, or can mail their registration form and payment to 395 Magnolia Road, Pinehurst NC  28374.  Checks should be made payable to the Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department, unless noted otherwise on the program information. All registration is open until the activity is filled unless stated otherwise.  Due to the nature of many of our programs, a minimum number of participants may be required to have a program.  Registration forms can be found by visiting the Forms and Brochures section of our website.

Indigent Youth Policy - No Pinehurst resident youth will be denied participation based on their ability to pay.

Program Cancellations

If the minimum number of participants is not met by the registration deadline, we reserve the right to cancel any class, activity, or event due to lack of pre-registration. To prevent cancellations, please pre-register with the Parks and Recreation Department. If there is a cancellation, the Village will issue a credit or refund. Any program cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather will be announced on radio stations WIOZ (102.5 FM) and WEEB (990 AM). Every effort will also be made to notify the participants directly.

Refund requests will be processed, with a $5.00 administrative fee deducted.
