CODE RED (REVERSE 911 EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM)

The Village of Pinehurst has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows the Village to telephone all or targeted areas of the Village in case an emergency situation requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). It then delivers our recorded message to a live person or an answering machine, making three attempts to connect to any number.

Ensuring accuracy of the database of phone numbers is an essential component to notifying residents in a rapid and efficient method. To check your contact information or register additional phone numbers, such as a mobile number, follow these instructions:

Access the CodeRED website and:

Residents: Enter your name, address and emergency phone number. You may add up to three emergency phone numbers. You must click on the CodeRED™ and enter your name, address and phone number for each emergency phone number to be contacted.

Businesses: Each business must put in the word Business in the first name field and the complete business name in the last name field. You may add up to three emergency phone numbers. You must click on the CodeRED™ and enter your name, address and phone number for each emergency phone number to be contacted.
