ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

The Village Council regularly takes action by adopting ordinances and resolutions.  Sometimes the distinction between the two are not very clear, but ordinances are viewed as a permanent rule of conduct, while a resolution is more of an expression of opinion on administrative matters.
